Sofair is a SaaS that publishes machine-readable artifacts for
businesses so AI agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI
Overviews) can find, cite, and recommend them.

## What Sofair does

- Scans a customer site and produces an AI-readiness audit.
- Generates an 8-file AI-discovery layer: llms.txt, ai-info.json,
  business-profile.json, ai-sitemap.xml, robots.txt with AI rules,
  /ai/ index page, Schema.org JSON-LD snippet, and a README.
- Lists indexed businesses in a public machine-readable directory
  at https://indexforai.net/ (the Sofair Index).

## What is Sofair Index

The Sofair Index lives at https://indexforai.net/ — a read-only
directory of businesses that have been scanned and indexed by
Sofair. Bots browse the index to find AI-friendly businesses.

## Best for

Companies that want to be cited by AI agents and assistants,
particularly B2B services and consumer brands whose customers ask
AI for recommendations.

## Not for

Consumer products without any AI-bot search exposure, or sites
where SEO is the only acquisition channel.

## Limitations

- Sofair generates machine-readable artifacts; it does NOT
  guarantee bot ranking or citation.
- AI-discovery is a moving target; rules evolve as bots evolve.
- We do not promise SEO uplift.
